 Hi All,

I need your help! Help me pick a phone. Okay, so I hate to admit this but here we go... I have an old phone! I haven't upgraded in quite a while(3yrs.), I think it is about time!

I am a Verizon customer and I am happy with the service, so I have limited my search to those available on their network. I am leaning towards a Andriod, the HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid X, or Droid 2. All will cost about the same amount.

Do any of you have one of these phones? If so how do you like it, what are the pros and cons?

I really appreciate an input / feedback you can offer. Thanks in advance!

I have a Droid X and absolutely love it.  Plenty of features and available apps.  The only issue I've had (a couple of times) was the phone kept dialing back the same number after I hung up.  It only happened a few times and hasn't happened in months so it might have been an anomoly.

Good luck with your purchase!

I had a Blackberry.  The screen was too small.

I will not use an IPhone.  Cost too much per month and you have to pay to tether.

I use an HTC HD2 at the moment with TMobile.  I can tether (use it to get on the Internet) for FREE.

I will probably move to a Droid this fall.  Better operating system than the HTC

Jeremy,

Good luck - I got a new phone after having mine for about 3 years (non of the ones you mentioned) I am still learning how to use it - what a pain. I know it is a lot better but I don't have the time to learn all of the features.

I still have the Blackberry and love it!  I really don't need more.  There is a new touchscreen Blackberry from AT&T.  Worth a look!

Evo from Sprint. Very large screen allows even someone like myself with large hands to use the virtual keyboard. And the larger screen means a great experience when using it to access web.

Biggest plus though is that by downloading easytether from the app market I am able to use my phone to provide net service on my laptop.

Only real downside is that the phone is so large that people with small hands may find it uncomfortable to use, and of course slipping it in a pocket is harder.

I would say make sure you get something with a touvh screen. They really jam the buttons on the keyboard and they are so small. You will find you constantly make errors. so a touch screen is a must

Droid 2 gives you a physical keypad.  For some folks that is important. Other than the keypad all 3 are very comparable and you would be happy with any of them.

I would start right at the top, with the Motorola Droid X or the HTC Droid Incredible.

I might lean towards the X, because of the 4.3" Screen.  I love the 4.3" screen on my Sprint HTC Evo.

Hi All,

Thank you so much! I really appreciate all of your input. I chose the HTC Incredible. I went to the store yesterday and they told me the phone was set to be shipped today. I stopped back at home from the office around noon today and it was here.  I am very pleased with the shipping time amazing job Verizon.

Thanks Again!
