What does your car say about you?

As I was sitting at a stop light earlier today I found myself reading all of the bumper-stickers on the car in front of me. All the bumper-stickers were angry political and angry religious messages. I really began to feel sorry for that person. I couldn't imagine going through life so angry and full of hate. As I began to say a quick prayer for them I thought...wow, what am I saying to people? Now I don't know if the person who was driving the vehicle in front of me really was angry and full of hate, but that's the message I got. I was just wondering....what does your vehicle say about you?.....

By the way...All I have is the Christian fish symbol on my car and nothing on my truck.

I don't believe in bumper stickers. If you're trying to sell your services to people, you don't want to be making any of them mad.

Nora, if it walks like a duck...they probably ARE angry. I wouldn't tailgate a car with angry stickers!

Nora, I think littering a car up with bumper stickers is just silly and obnoxious. Sometimes I do get a chuckle out of some particularly witty one, though. It's also funny to see a bumper sticker for a losing political candidate from several years ago still hanging around on a car. I've seen from other people's experiences how hard they can be to remove cleanly.

I am completely anti-bumpersticker...what does that say about me????

No offense but, I commuted for 5 years (2 hours each way) on California's freeways. This time gave me a real lesson in human psychology. Angry drivers, drivers who did everything other than drive, drivers who must have been more important than everyone else on the road, and a few intoxicated drivers too. In observing the angry drivers, I found that, uverwhelmingly, the angry ones who flashed the one legged peace sign more than an agnry sign laguage interpreter had the fish on thier cars. Dont know why....I am a Christian too and could not understand this phenomena. Sad....but true.

I don't have anything on my car except the realtor license plate holder. I try to keep neutral because you never know who you could offend.

I have a magnet on the back of my PT Cruiser. It read "need a mortgage and my number". I have gotten a number of leads just by driving to appointments, errands, and just personal things. People see my car on the highway, in neighborhoods and sitting at stop lights

I have a green car with no stickers on it. I like to joke about the line in the movie "Meet the Parents" when Robert DeNiro says that they say geniuses pick green. Maybe I should put a bumper sticker on my car that says that!

No bumper stickers of any kind. I do have my company magnetic signs but that is all. No angry messages

for me.

The only thing on my car is my Jesus fich and my magnetic yellow ribbon honoring the troops. Other than that my car says broke and frugal.

Scientific study showed that more liberals use bumper stickers than conservatives! I think that is so interesting.

My car says that I'm a conservative, because I don't use bumper stickers. I even take off the dealer sticker on the back that shows where I got the car! They aren't paying me to advertise!

My car also says about me that I'm a very small person. I'm not. This is why I need a new car! ;)

I like the bumper sticker that says "I may be slow -but I'm ahead of YOU!!

But my favorite is " WARNING:IN CASE OF RAPTURE THIS VEHICLE WILL HAVE NO DRIVER!!"

Great post. "Out on the road today I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac" (Don Henley, Boys of Summer) was funny enough, just playing on XM.

All I have on my car is a little circular sticker on the front drivers side windshield that is from "The Presidential Prayer Team"

I do not feel I need to "advertize" my Christianity... just live it.....

I do not place any symbols or stickers on my car it brings down the value. I do not want to get into a no win conversation situation with possible clients either. My car if you look at say's this guy is successful and a neat freak.

I have a green Hyundai Tucson SUV. I'm contemplating a license plate that either has my last name or is geared toward the Reverse Mortgage market.

Anyone have a good experience with a personalized license plate?

Any stickers seem cheesy to me, but I may just be lazy because I wouldn't want to spend the time down the road taking it off the car!
