Ok, we are getting excited in the North Georgia Mountains! We will soon be entering the fall months and after this latest heatwave, none too soon! The Blue Ridge mountains is the place to be when looking to cool off from the hot summer heat but even we had temperatures above 100 degrees in the last couple of weeks! So many of us headed for the Lake Blue Ridge, Toccoa River, creeks and higher elevations to cool things down. Now, comes the best time of all in my opinion - Fall in the Mountains and as if that wasn't enough, the Fall Festivals too!
