McAuliffe Park Pea Patch Kirkland Washington
The McAuliffe Park Pea Patch is the largest of the three pea patches, or Community Gardens in Kirkland. It has 33 plots, compared to 14 in the Ohde Ave Pea Patch, or 12 in the Tot Lot Pea Patch.

It is in the middle of the McAuliffe Park, has lots of space and is fenced. Clearly it is meeting a need, because all of its plots, as well as all the plots in each of the other ones in Kirkland, are all sold out for the 2010 season.

The procedure is that you apply for a plot. If you already have had one, you have first priority. In February, the plots are assigned, upon making an application and paying $50 for the year’s growing season.

The season is March 1 of each year to November 1. By that time, your plot should be cleaned up and raked, and you are done for the year. The Community Gardening Program Registration Form lists Cathy Anderson as the Accounts Associate. There is even a phone number -425 587-3349 and email address to contact her. canderson@ci.kirkland.wa.us.
