Okay so Redding, CA didn't make it to the "Top 10 Cities that have that Loving Feeling", but if you ask many of our local love birds, they will tell you that romance indeed blooms in our beautiful city!
I read this article this morning about the "Most Romantic Cities for Baby Boomers" (see where your city ranks) a study conducted by Bert Sperling of Sperling's BestPlaces and although Redding, CA wasn't on the list, allow us to show you what our Baby Boomers do to enjoy a life of romance in Redding!
1. Step by Step School of Ballroom Dance ~ samba, tango, salsa...you name it!
2. Shasta Sunset Dinner Train ~ the very reason I fell in love with this area and moved here!
3. The Sundil Bridge ~ a visit to the Sundial Bridge (day or night) will make you fall in love all over again.
4. A Bed & Breakfast night at the French Gulch Historic Hotel
5. Body & Soul Ritual Massage for 2 at The Spa Downtown
6. Sipping the best cup of tea at the Oregon Street Tea Company, Inc.
7. An day swimming, fishing or just discovering our beautiful rivers and lakes
8. A romantic evening at the award winning Maritime Seafood Bar & Grill followed by an entertaining show at the Cascade Theatre
The list goes on but these are just a few of the places that will bring out the "romance" in you whether you're a baby boomer or not. Welcome to Redding, CA!
