How is your 2011 Business Plan Coming Along? 

Quite frankly, I am one of those people that plans way ahead, and my 2011 Business Plan is already in place.  I admit that I am making some adjustments, and tweaking as I go along, but I feel it is critical to always plan ahead and have a clear vision of where I am heading. 

How about you?  This is just a "friendly" reminder.... The reality is that if you don't start working in 2010 on your business for 2011, you will fall short of your goals and expectations. 

It always comes down to the 80-20 rule.  20% of agents are doing 80% of the business.  The 20% of agents that are successful usually have a Business Plan and Goals for their business.

I'm new and have actually started a business plan without any previous year's tracking to assist. It is mostly starting with the end number and working backwards, but I feel like I'm grabbing at thin air. It weighs on me as to how to proceed to clarify the next steps.

I've done some reading and brain storming, but it still feels so intangible I'm a little frustrated with the process. It's like creating pathways in the wilderness not knowing what the 80 vs 20 activity is for the 20 vs 80 income generated.

I hope it gets easier after the first year! ;o)
