NEWS FROM MEGA AGENT CAMP 2007

I wanted to report some great tools that I noted at dinner with some of my fellow Keller Williams Active Rainers tonight at Hickory Street Bar and Grill in Austin. We met around 5pm and actually left after 10pm. I had a great time and made wonderful connections.

TOP TECH TOOLS

  1. Patlive Answering Service. I use this to have my phones answered 24/7 by a live voice if my team does not pick up.
  2. BuyerAcquire Home Hotline. I just signed up, but Dale Serbousek mentioned that they text message calls to your phone and are also integrated with Top Producer.
  3. Personal Marketing Company (newsletters, postcards). I use their newsletters for my 12-direct and as part of 33-touch programs. They also have good client follow-up programs.
  4. Fresh Beginnings.com, which is a gift company recommended by Dale Serbousek.
  5. Gotvmail.com is the find-me, follow-me service that Mark Ryan uses. He noted that NAR has a discount. I use Freedomvoice.com.
  6. The RealEstate Book. Derek and Mariana Wagner aren't using this print marketing tool as much now, but they recommend it along with a home hotline. Ben Kinney also uses them.
  7. Proquest and Archtelecom were mentioned as IVR tools of choice by the Wagners as well as Ben Kinney.

This is just a quick list, so feel free to add!

Everyone of the tools can be a real plus to your business. They need to be implemented and turned into part of your system. Do they fit into the overall market plan? If yes then great. Go for it.

Interesting list, Dee. It's obvious technology is and will be the way to go.

One good tool, even just one good idea that is implemented right can be worth tens of thousands, even more.

Dee - Lots of cool tools, but as Randy pointed out if not properly implemented within your marketing system you won't get the desired benefit.

I definitely like consolidation, so use Top Producer tools as much as possible. The seller and buyer reports are awesome. Since I have a top producer website, clients can log into the site to view their latest updates.

Today's tech camp was actually very interesting and I like that KW is updating it's hiring model to include the internet lead generation. One tool that we're having access to soon is online lead management assistance, like http://kw.mosthome.com/

Hi Dee, I find this list interesting. I will check them out. I have also recently found www.30boxes.comwhich I really like. It's a online calendar and to-do list that you can add your friends and colleagues on. They can see your calendar at anytime and you can check it from any computer. We have found it helpful around the office!
