Welcome to The Knolls at Ramapo in Suffern, New York!
Built in 1986, these 1626 square foot townhouses offer a feeling of living in a home, while all the amenities, including exterior maintenance, lawn care and snow removal are taken care of by your monthly home owner fee. The lawns are lavish and the many pine trees and ornamental trees, as well as the outstanding perennial and annual gardens, make living here a dream come true!
The Knolls at Ramapo has a lovely pool, tennis courts, basketball court, playground and a dog run.
As a pet lover I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
The entry level of these tri-levels for sale in Suffern, NY has a half bath, a large eat-in-kitchen which is perfect for entertaining, and a spacious living room/dining room combination. Many of the living rooms have fireplaces. The fully finished basements have large family rooms and a laundry room. Some of the townhouses also have an additional den/office in the basement and some of those rooms have windows and closets. A select few of The Knolls of Ramapo townhouses for sale have a full bathroom in the basement. There are 2 townhouses for sale at The Knolls at Ramapo currently. One townhouse on the market is listed at $399,900 and is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit. The other townhouse for sale now is listed at $425,000 and is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath unit.
There have been 5 Knolls at Ramapo tri-levels that have sold since December 2009 at the time of this article, which is August 20, 2010. They have ranged in sale price from $375,000 for a 2 bedroom unit to $417,500 for a fully upgraded 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit which had gorgeous granite countertops and cherry wood cabinetry. The taxes for the townhouses is about $4100 and the monthly homeowner fee ranges between $340 to $409, depending upon the section of the Knolls.
Living in this complex provides you with other advantages. You are close to public transportation to NYC, both rail and bus lines and close to many major highways, so commuting is easy. Suffern has a wide variety of wonderful restaurants that will satisfy the most discerning palettes. It also has a large, old style movie house and an excellent theatre that sometimes rivals broadway shows. There is also a world class golf course in Suffern.
