To whom is this quote attributed: "The very idea of "winning a fight" is paradoxical. The real winner doesn't participate"?  I thought a paradox was something that didn't appear true but possible is true.  "Winning a fight" could be a paradox because it IS true that you can win a fight, even though common sense might dictate that the participants of a fight never win.  The second part of that quote ("the real winner doesn't participate") seems not to flow from the first sentence with its use of the phrase "paradox".  Hey, at least you got me thinking, which is more valuable to me than a cup of coffee!  :)
