- The Creative Arts Center will host the Ceramic Work of John W Hopkins from September 10 - 30, 2010. Because of his interest in both sculpture and ceramics, John Hopkins decided to study under Jerry Rothman at California State University Fullerton where he received his BA, MA and MFA in ceramics. - On Thursday, September 9th, 3:30-7:30pm - Barnes & Noble will host @School Open House - Parents and teachers are invited to come check out their new department with materials for educators and students, including school supplies and classroom extras. Open House will include a section overview, refreshments, and a prize drawing.

- The Creative Arts Center hosts the Society for Calligraphy exhibit "Expressions-Images from Our Pens" August 6 - 26, 2010. The Society for Calligraphy, Southern California, is a non-profit educational organization which promotes the study, teaching and practice of calligraphy and related disciplines. This exhibit will showcase our members' best works from all levels of skills and talents. Calligraphic styles of traditional to non-traditional will be featured.
- Come Out & Dance! Thursday Nights on AMC Walkway in Downtown Burbank. Summer music festival with eight glorious nights of boogie, hop and cha-cha-cha under the stars on Thursdays in July and August. The stage and dance floor will be located on the AMC Walkway at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue in Downtown Burbank. July will feature the best in swing, while August will get hot with salsa. Come Out & Dance! is free and open to the public.
- Plugged-In Friday Nights in July - August Universal City Walk. Check out some of L.A.'s hottest upcoming bands and established artists on Friday nights. Top music executives and representatives from popular Sunset Strip venues will to judge the weekly contest. You never know what to expect on City Walk Stage on Friday Nights from now until August 27 at 7:00pm..
