One of the best things about living in Murphy, NC is all the great surrounding areas that make for some great daytrips. We’ve already shared with you about our Highlands outing,  Dry Falls and the amazing  Stick Art Maze outside The Bascom, but here’s our favorite exhibit inside The Bascom. They even have vintage leather motorcycle jackets for you to wear as you tour this exhibit and take photos!

This extraordinary collection is on loan from the Wheels Through Time Museum and collector Dale Walksler. The Wheels Through Time Museum is home to the world's premier collection of rare American Vintage Motorcycles.  Located just 90 minutes from Murphy, in beautiful Maggie Valley, NC, this All-American motorcycle museum houses over 300 of America's rarest and most historic classic motorcycles, including the likes of Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior, Crocker, Henderson, and much more. So if you don’t make it over to Highlands and The Bascom for this exhibit, you can always head over to Maggie Valley to see the whole collection there!
