This past weekend, the last one before Hillsborough County School District in Tampa, Florida start for the 2010/2011 school year was rainy.

How many times, as a parent, do you tell your kids – “Stop Bouncing Around!” However, do you fall short in finding things to do in Tampa for kids. As a parent of two young boys, those words have been uttered, spewed and screamed numerous times. I had to eat my words on Saturday. It wasn’t the first time. This time though, it was rather tasty. By the way, I had a pretty good time, too, as did all the other parents who were “treating” their children to a fun day on several hundred feet of trampolines. A dodge ball game between strangers (adults vs adults vs children) even got started.

Though we didn’t partake of anything, there was a snack bar where weary souls refueled before returning to the trampoline area.
