At least once a week, the issue of "Help" is raised on every national news organization for New Orleans, Haiti, India, Pakistan, etc. Millions of dollars have been donated to every major catastrophe that has occurredin the past five years. Thousands of man hours have been donated to assist all the areas to get their lives back to normal. Why (after the first 3-4 days) have we heard nothing about the floods in Tennessee? How much federal aid did they get? Did anyone go to their assistance? Did the news say that President Obama ever looked at their devastation? Are they back to normal? I don't hear then whining and complaining about no one helping them! Was their devastation minimal? I'm just curious as to why they have not been in the news since the first few days. Any agents from Tennessee?

Linda, there is so much going on in our Country that needs attention, and it just doesn't seem to me anymore that the focus is on our own land as it is overseas. We can't protect what we don't have anymore.

Again, I noticed Monday night there will be another featured program on Katrina and what is happening today. I remember another area hit just as hard; the whole town was pulling together and doing it themselves...not waiting for the feds. I admired them.
