Does Seminars Help Make You More Successful?

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Dynasty

After every seminar that I come back from, I learned something new and feel refreshed and motivated to work harder. Only about 2 weeks later I found out that I am running low on gas and slowly revert back to my old ways with just some minor improvements.

A month ago, I came back from the Mike Ferry Super Star retreat and was able to figure out how to went from knocking on 23 NODs, Expires, and FSBOs doors / day to 42/day the following week and 64/day the next week. It has dropped to about 45/day now. Two weeks ago I went to RainCamp at San Diego, got a lot of great Internet tips and actually implemented about 75% of them. Yet two weeks later feel really tired to keep it up.

Does Seminars Help Make You More Successful?

Going to seminars are great in learning new tips and meeting other agents but usually that is time lost from work and takes time to get back on feet. I am thinking about spending only 1/2 days on seminars every two weeks to keep pushing me forward.

Do you feel that seminars help make you more successful and which ones would you recommend?

I always enjoy learning more about real estate, whether it's continuing education, or a seminar on how to improve.

The Answer To All Of Your Real Estate Needs

Song - most seminars are great and most of the suggestions they offer do work if you use them. The key is consistency and longevity. You need to work at it every single day and as you have seen it gets harder the further you move from the event.

Don: Thanks. I just came back form a half day Craig Proctor seminar today and added some new techniques to getting leads.

Carol:  I agree that education is very important. That is why I spend the first 4 months of starting real estate to just education.

Andy:  Thanks.  I have been to a few MFO events and with their coaching program. I also talked to Tom last week and he is a great guy.  Going to be a VIP guest at his retreat this Wed.
