Monday Morning Motivator & Some Points to Ponder...

" If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. "
     ~ Bruce Lee ~

The humming bird is the smallest bird in the Americas. Their annual migration from their winter home in central America to their summer breeding home in north America, often take them several thousand miles. Some species even fly across the Gulf of Mexico.
If the smallest bird in the Americas can do such amazing feats, just imagine what you can do if you put really your mind to it...

Your humming bird analogy should be all the motivation anyone ever needs to strive to reach new heights.

Great accompanying photo, as always, Michael

Wow, Michael, as I rub the sleep from my eyes and grab a cup of coffee, I have two hummers flying in front of my bay window chasing each other and feeding.  Great shot as always.

Inspiring words, Michael.  Seems that so often we humans put limits where there should be none, and don't put limits where there should be some!

Hummginbirds, Monarch butterflies - their annual journeys are truly awesome.

I'm sure Bruce Lee was thinking of something else but I think the Hummingbird is a fine example of never resting and always moving to a goal...
You are one busy and prolific person Michael

What a beautiful photo, I love hummingbirds.  We don't get too many of them here in St George, but I will see one occasionally.

Hi Michael...love this photo. Humming birds are special. we have a Feeder out for them year round, the Hummingbirds here stay all year. I guess it's too far to travel to South America.

What type of lenses do you use to capture one of these guys with your camera...I find it hard to get to close without them zooming off.

Michael, Thanks for Bruce Lee's words of wisdom.

Thank you!

Michael - I have an army of Hummingbird at my house right now, and I fear that they will crash into me whenever I step outside.

WOW Michael what a great capture and some very interesting info on Hummingbirds, I grew up with them at the cabin when I was a little boy.
