It seems despite the global slowdown and falls in the UK housing market the Brits are still very much in love with buying real estate abroad. Proof of this the success of overseas property exhibition A place in The Sun Live which is now running twice per year.
A Place in the Sun Live, the UK's biggest and best-attended overseas property exhibition, returns to Birmingham with a feature-packed show at the NEC on 1st-3rd October 2010. Based on the hit Channel 4 TV series, the award-winning A Place in the Sun Live promises an all-encompassing look at how to get onto the overseas real estate ladder.
Following the successful London event in March, A Place in the Sun Live is bringing its compelling mix of property advice and inspiration to the Midlands. Alongside over 100 exhibitors, the show will boast a series of informative country-specific feature areas including
·A French Village in association with French-property.com and sponsored by Halo Financial featuring properties available from across France and a dedicated seminar theatre with sessions on buying in France
·A Portuguese Pavilion, in association with the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, with supporting seminars on buying in Portugal, including the full low-down on investment opportunities.
Absent from the line up it appears to me is US realtors and real estate developers in particular agents from Florida who nearly always fill the stands at the show
