FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! If you were anywhere on the roads in the Conroe ISD area this morning, you are well aware that today was the first day of school. Buses were everywhere and car-rider lines wrapped around the area schools.
How exciting to see the kids young and old excited to get back to into the swing of school. I have a high schooler who will be a Jr. this year and he admitted to be glad to be going back. Routine is good and I believe kids truly do want to learn even if they don't act like it sometimes.
Remembering that first day of school feeling is a great reminder to tackle my job and daily responsibilities with the same zeal and enthusiasm as these kids. Going back to remember why I got into to real estate and focusing on the great things about my career is a good mental exercise indeed!
Be careful out there as all the "yellow dogs" make their rounds this afternoon!
