Nanci, my contact at Wells Fargo recently told me that all contracts for short sales must have a close of escrow date of at least 7 full business days before the foreclosure is scheduled, if there is one.  That allows them time to move out the foreclosure.  Just a tip if you're writing a contract and Wells is the bank.
