DEBBIE.

Some of these classic brick colonial homes are fabulous.  My favorite neighborhoods are Woodside and Woodmoor.  Some years ago, I sold Mrs. K's house up behind the restaurant.  THAT was a fabulous house.

Debbie,

We would love to talk to you about homes in the Takoma Park/Silver Spring area.  Is the home on your website still for sale? (http://activerain.com/blogsview/181699/Silver-Spring-Md-North).  If so, could you tell me the list price?  We'd love to talk to you about other homes in the area.  We are interested in homes with 3-4 bedrooms, at least 1 1/2 baths (although 2 full baths is desirable), priced under $600K, yard (doesn't have to be very big, just big enough for our small daughter to run around in, maybe put a small swing set), nice wooded setting, no "fixer upper," we love neighborhoods around TP and Sligo Creek (mainly because they tend to have nice wooded settings), we also like homes with a lot of charm.  BONUSES (but not requirements) are: a nice kitchen, sunroom, front porch, fireplace, fenced yard, near a playground.  We would consider living on a busy street if it was set back from the road and the noise from the traffic wasn't too obvious.  Otherwise, we prefer homes on a quiet residential street.

Thanks so much for taking the time to consider our home preferences!
