Mission Valley Condos
The Abbey

Mission Valley condo prices have been steadily increasing since February 2009, so if you enjoy the hassle-free condominium lifestyle, it's time to
get into a Mission Valley condo. You can enjoy everything that beautiful
San Diego has to offer right from the central location of your condominium at The Abbey!

Call Jim Frimmer for all your San Diego County real estate needsThe Abbey is a very small community of just nine units at the western end of Mission Valley and very close to the University of San Diego. These units are unique in Mission Valley due to their size and construction. At least one of them is actually a single family detached home with no common walls, and several of them could be considered single-family attached homes rather than condominiums or townhomes.

If you like to golf, Riverwalk Golf Course, a public course, is directly across Friars Road, and Fashion Valley Mall, several San Diego Trolley stations, Mission Bay, and SeaWorld are also very close by.

Walkers, joggers, and bikers will enjoy the concrete paths along the the San Diego River from Qualcomm Stadium all the way to Mission Bay, Ocean Beach, and Mission Beach.

Call Jim Frimmer for all your San Diego County real estate needsThe Abbey was built in 1972. Units range in size from 1,302 square feet to 2,822 square feet. Floor plans (bedrooms/bathrooms) include 2/2, 2/4, 3/2, 4/2, and 4/5. All units have in-unit laundries.

Because there are so few units and they rarely sell, it's difficult to get an accurate estimate of the HOA dues, but it appears that they range from about $300 to $500 a month and include common area maintenance, landscaping, exterior building and roof maintenance, water (possibly including hot water), and limited insurance.

There are no units currently for sale, and none have sold since 2008.

Following are the most recent sales in The Abbey:

I just commented on your Presidio Mirage post thinking that 12 units had to be a record for small condominium complex, and here this one has only 9 units!
