Cook County real estate tax bills jump

Does it surprise you that the second installment of the Cook County real estate tax bills has not yet been released?  Do you think they are being delayed until after the November elections?  Why else would a cash strapped county like Cook County delay the billing and collection of real estate taxes?  I will leave that to you to ponder.  As for me, I believe that the tax bills will increase by a significant amount for those Cook County homeowners who do not have special friends on the inside.  Have a great day and plan on paying your taxes after the elections.
