If you like Jazz, and you live in Nashville, The Belle Meade Mansion is the place to be on Sunday August 29th. The Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society presents its summer "Concert on the Lawn"outside the Carriage House. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets and friends.
The Sunday concert will feature the Fabulous Wootens. Brothers Victor and Roy (Future Man) tour as the Flecktones, the remaining brothers hold a night of jazz at Nashville's 3rd& Lindsley Nightclub. Joined by drummer Raymond Massey, bassist John Billings and Roger Williams on sax. When in town on tour, celebrity musicians and artists will drop by to sit in.
It sounds like a lot of fun. With the cooler weather, this could be the best Jazz weekend of the year.
