Yes. That is the short answer! Of course they are confused, I am in the market and I am confused!

If you are in this 2007 market, are you confused?!

Now that every client client that comes to me ask the same questions...well more like "Question". What is going on in the real estate market? That is then quickly followed up by the 'What is going on with the finance world', then to the auto loan rates, then to the credit card rates.....then to... well.... what ever! Enough is enough!

Quotes from the Realtors Mouths-

"The only people making money today are the ad salesmen & women that push the fear of (my) god down the throats of anyone who turns on a radio or TV!"     "Can I fault them? Heck no, but it sure seems like the have had a lot of pent up anger and resentments at our success during the previous years!" Damn mortgage guys can't close a door (used to be his best friend)"

If you know your market, you market your market, and you are constantly trying to 'grow" your market, you should be ok right?

Yeah things are up in the air, but I smell opportunity!  It's not that hard to think ahead a bit and figure out that this is quickly becoming a buyer's market!

Right now there seems to be a pretty good sized gap between seller expectations and buyer expectations in my part of the world.

Judi I love you! In a professional type of way!

It is like there needs to be a happy medium (that is what we do, educate) in the market in order to bring buyers and sellers to a fair and agreeable solution... sounds easy!

We can have a contract together, then the buyers see something on TV, then the want to renegotiate the entire contract (after inspections)! Or the sellers turn out to be stuck in 2004 (whether they need the money or not- it is their choice) and they think that their home is still appreciating 0.75% every other month it is on the market.

And NO- these are not my clients....and I hope they are not yours!

I keep hearing people who have been in the biz for over 30 years saying they have never seen a market like this! This is the only market I know- it doesn't seem so bad which makes me excited for the future! Ty, you're hilarious- I like your style
