School has started in many places and we can really tell the difference in the number of visitors here on the coast. Just last week, many of the complexes had no vacancy signs. This week all have out the welcome signs. It has been a good year for tourism with many people electing to visit the Grand Strand. Some of these chose here instead of the Gulf Coast because of the oil spill. Hopefully, everyone enjoyed their stay and will come back in the future.
