If you think your name is unique, just Google it! Mine is not unique, whether I am Liz or Elizabeth, whether I use my married name or my maiden name. Since my maiden name is England, just imagine what Elizabeth England produces. Ah, but Google the whole thing, and I find that I AM unique (though practically non-existent in Google-dom)! The problem, however, is that none of my current clients would have a clue about what my maiden name is.
When I first went into real estate, I wanted to get a domain name such as lockhart.com or lockhartrealty. No such luck! Somebody beat me to the lockhartrealty idea, and those agents are selling island properties. I'd like to be confused with their high-dollar volume sometimes... It is gratifying, however, to find that I appear to be alone as Liz Lockhart, Realtor®
Some of my Liz Lockhart compadres do seem to have interesting and accomplished lives, so here's to all the Liz Lockharts out there. Carry on--just don't get a real estate license, PLEASE! On that count, I really like being THE Liz Lockhart!
