How Was Your August in Hawaii?

Services for Real Estate Pros with Waikoloa Vacation Rentals

Although most blog posts are more informatative I wanted to write this one strictly for interaction purposes.

I have steadily been growing my vacation rental business on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of the past eight years.  Although the economy is struggling we have enjoyed one of our better years here in 2010.  This August was the best month we have ever had outside of the busy winter seasons.  I talked to a few hotels as well as some other rental companies and they have also enjoyed some success.

How has things been this month for you as far as real estate goes?  Have leads picked up? Sales?

Hi Rob: 2010 has been a banner year for me in real estate. Blogging definitely has contributed to that success. I was at Waikoloa 2 years ago for Pac Rim. It was fun. Aloha Julie

You know August was a great month for me, Rob.  Besides closing on the sale of Kolea 15D (which was my first short sale listing but since it took 13 months to close was not my first closed short sale!), I had two listings sell in the Hawi area.  Two out of the three were financed transactions, and I know low interest rates are helping keep our market active.

Beth,
Good to hear.  Seems like there has been a lot of activity at Kolea.
