Marshfield, MA Habitat For Humanity Duck Derby

One Thousand rubber ducks will be raced on the South River on Saturday, Sept. 11.  You can buy a duck, or a group of ducks, each with a number on the bottom, and watch them race, all to benefit Marshfield's Habit For Humanity.

The prizes include $1,000 worth of free groceries at Roche Brothers, $500 worth of merchandise at Taylor Lumber, $500 worth of gas at local gas stations, and gift certificates.  The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. in the Rexhame Beach parking lot and continue until 2 p.m. The Duck Derby begins at noon.  Games, food and family activities will follow the racing.  You can buy a duck up until the day of the event.
