Where exactly is Woodlands, TX? I use to go to the Home and Garden Show in Dallas. Woodlands must be pretty good size to have a Home and Garden Show. I miss Texas lately. Seeing your listings brings back memories of the areas I hung out in Highland Park was where my best friend lived and I spend a lot of time there. I would guess you are better each day and I'm so happy about that....soon you will be in your first race.

The Woodlands is about 30 miles north of Houston.  As you drive north of Houston you begin to get closer to the Sam Houston National forest so we are blessed to be in the east Texas Piney Woods.  George Mitchell and oil and gas tycoon bought and developed The Woodlands over 30 years ago.  Hey, you have just given me a great idea for my next post!

Good to hear from you and yes - I am preparing for my a race soon.  I will be going slow but it will be great to be back into it.

Paula,

Where do you get your energy?  All the blogs, real estate, taking care of your family and training, and that's on a less than 100% capacity.  And a home and garden show to boot... g
