As part of a 30 day blog challenge I am taking part in, it has been suggested to me that I could write about free things to do in Henry county, GA. The first free thing to do in Henry county, GAis to visit 34 acre Sandy Ridge Park in McDonough, located off of Keys Ferry Road. Sandy Ridge Park has the following amenities:
- BMX Track
- 2 tennis courts
- .8 mile paved walking / jogging track
- Outside basketball courts
- 2 picnic pavilions
- 2 play areas
- 1 lighted baseball field
- 3 lighted softball fields
- 2 concession stands
- Gazebo
My children LOVE to play on the playgrounds!
The BMX track is very popular and hosts many race events.
This park has tons of free things to do!
