I love pillows too.  Love to layer them on beds for depth and definition.  Also warms a place up immediately!

So true, Kathy!  Just like your photos illustrate, pillows can change the look of a room altogether, and it's fun to use different colors, patterns, textures, and shapes.  I like to tie the throw pillows into either the art, an area rug, or some other element in the room so that it looks cohesive.

I am amazed how they each give such a different feel. I will start working with PILLOWS! Thanks Kathy!

Love the example of pillows shown above!  Pillows do make an impact in any room and can easily update a tired sofa or chair!

I love using pillows as well.  Not sure where you're shopping for them. However, I have found that Ross for Less has an awesome selection and they're typically not that expensive.

Great pillow selection, Kathy!  So easy to change with the seasons too.

Love your pilows.  I too have a pillow fetish.  To me, the pillows and the artwork set the tone for the room.

Just as paint is one of the easiest, cost effective ways to change up a room's archectural features....pillows can do much of the same for the furniture in the room.  Pillows and lamps are my weak spots :o)  Thanks for sharing!

Kathy - I have a thing for pillows too! Thank God I am not the only one ; )

Pillows help soften the hard edges of the furniture and bring warmth to any space. They add texture, pattern and color and can be easily changed according to the season or an upcoming holiday. Your selection is beautiful!

Kathy - I'm a self-confessed pillowholic, too! I just can't get enough of them.  I love your examples - they set the style of the room:  modern, contemporary, tranditional, country.

Like Sally, I confess that I am a pillowholic too. We have a 35ft wall/9ft high for all our pillows and that isn't even enough room ;) Big Lots has them too ;)

I do not like to store my pillows so I keep them in my two guest rooms and in our garage on racks-Ross, Pier 1 and Restoration Hardware are my favorites.

Right on, Kathy. I had the same pillows (two left photos) in stock.  Love the sets on the right, too.  It's amazing the impact they provide.  IKEA can be a pretty good source as well.  Let me know if you ever want to meet at the 4th Street shops in Berkeley or the IKEA in Emeryville for a shopping spree.  ;-)

David....Cool I'll do that!  I do get to Berkeley and Emeryville on occasion to shop Ikea, Z Gallerie (since they closed the one in Walnut Creek!) and also like West Elm!

Kristine...find them everywhere it seems!  Happy shopping!!

The "back room" of the Crate & Barrel outlet sometimes has great furniture finds as well!  It seems like 4th Street is the only Z-Gallerie around these days since they closed the one on Haight Street several years back.  Of course, the 12 'head shops' along that corridor are alive and well...LOL!

Love the pillows too.  I usually make a few for each client.  Easy and inexpensive, gives a reall personal touch.
