1. Sunday August 29th - Bike the Bay
This is a fun ride, not a race. It is put on by the San Diego County Bike Coalition and offers a 25-mile route with food, entertainment, and a Karl Strauss beer garden. Good fun, join if you can!
2. Monday August 30th - Beer University
Beer, yes it is delicious, but wouldn't you want to know why? Learn the best cellaring techniques to get the optimal results for your most prized brews. Full class schedules and enrollment!
3. Tuesday August 31st - Free Tango on the Beach
Sunset tango on the beach at the Oceanside Pier Plaza Ampitheater - all ages welcome!
4. Wednesday September 1st - Taste of Downtown!
Has it been a long time since you've dined in downtown? This time is like no other, taste 50 delicious restaurants, one low price!
5. Thursday September 2nd - Blue Whale cruises
The San Diego Natural History Museum has created a history of a series of blue whale watching cruises from the bay. Private charters or luxury yachts available. Blue whales, some as long as 100 feet in length and weighing up to 190 tons are being sighted off San Diego's coast. Cruises promise dolphins, sea lions, sea birds, and other marine life.
6. Friday September 3rd - Contemporary Art San Diego
More than 50 galleries showcase paitings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, videos, multimedia, artworks, guest speakers, luxury brand, wine and food. Enjoy!
7. Saturday September 3rd - Fiery Food Festival
Sample local dishes with specialty sauce! Enjoy amateur salsa and barbecue competition. This is your chance to visit Old Town and taste some of thehottest sauces and marinades around!!
