Yesterday we witnessed an incredible event in our nation’s capital. Starting at the feet of the Lincoln Memorial and stretching back to the Washington Monument and beyond, at least a million people gathered without violence; without arrests; without banners and with no hatred in their hearts to celebrate America. In fact it was even more than that for those at Glenn Beck’s“Restoring Honor” event. But if you get your news from the mainstream media, it was of little or no importance – unless of course you could find a way to attack it.


Today’s podcast is all about our Freedom – and about the people who are supposed to be the guardians of that freedom – our press.

When the press stops doing its job, then freedom is threatened. We have all seen in our lifetimes that one of the first thing dictatorships do is to take over the media. They must control the message in order to retain power.

We are not there yet, but we have a Press that is no longer ashamed of it’s bias. In fact it makes no effort to hide it at all. That places all of us in danger. Black, white, yellow, red. Left wing, right wing. Democrats and republicans and the vast majority of us – independents.

The lies continue - CBS simply attacked yesterday with no crowd estimate - today? "Approximately 87,000 people attended the rally, according to a crowd estimate commissioned by CBS News. The estimate was made using aerial photos taken at noon, which was judged to be the height of the event. The estimate has a margin of error of 9,000 people."

The spin doctors on the liberal news outlets continue to play down the Tea Party movement.  We have already seen the rumblings around the country and hopefully November will show just how powerful the movement has become.  Then will the news media finally pay attention?

What is coming in November will be the only survey, pol, etc that matters.  The left will try to steal it, but I do not think they can this time without being caught red handed. 

People on the right are generally too busy to protest, we spend most of our time trying to work and take care of our families, so a Large Crowd from the right means a lot more than a large crowd from the left.
