Just Wondering

How many times have we sit in the stillness of the night and thought about all things that we didn't do or wouldn't do for others?  I pose that question to all of us in hopes that we would take a chance on those that we otherwise would not.  No matter what you think, we are all in this together.

                                                  Wandering

                               I wandered through the fields of death,

                               and saw the people who had no breath.

                               I wandered through the space of time

                               and saw no meaning or rhyme.

                               I wandered through the river of despair

                               and saw the people who did not care.

                               I wandered through the hearts of each

                               and saw the people I could not reach.

                               I wandered through the house of hate

                               and saw that death was their only fate.

                               I wandered through the land of plenty,

                               and saw those that did not have any.

                               I wandered through the tunnel of fear,

                               and saw the people disappear.

                               I wandered through this soul of mine,

                               and saw myself for the first time.
