Live theater in the Lake Sinclair area- great family entertainment.
One of the first dates I had with my husband was to a Georgia College & State University production. So every year I look forward to the line up and pick the shows and order my tickets early. This year is special. GCSU theater has a new home. The old "Campus" theater where I saw many a horror flick during my high school and college years will become the Campus Black Box Theatre. I'm super excited to go back and to get to take Donald with me to the "Campus Theater".
This year's theme is: A Southern Celebration: Welcome Home! And this years line-up includes:
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- Steel Magnolias
- The 1940s Radio Hour
- Milledgeville Memoirs
- The Nutcrackers
- Free Like Br'er Rabbit
- Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead
- Wonder of the World
Mary Badham the original "Scout" from the film To Kill a Mockingbird will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the novel with workshops October 7, 2010.
