I keep meaning to initiate and implement webinars as part of my client education process, so I'm curious to test this technology.

This seems to be one of the easier ways to test this out, and as it says, even if people don't end up attending the webinar, they've indicated their interest and given you an e-mail address.

So you can always contact them again when you re-do the webinar or have one on a related topic.

Online presentation software is becoming popular as a way to present educational webinars, sales pitches, and even to just host company meetings. Many companies offer free webinars for clients and prospects on optimizing your website, expanding your marketing, and much more. But we haven’t seen any REALTORS using online presentations to their advantage. If you think about it, there are a lot of opportunities for real estate professionals to use webinar software to expand their businesses.

Online presentations are a great way to reach out to potential clients and gather leads. For many web visitors, contacting you or scheduling a consultation is more of a commitment than they are ready for. Registering for a webinar, however, is less of a commitment so more visitors are likely to try it. Whether they attend the webinar or not, you have the opportunity to follow up with them and add them to your email list so when they are ready to talk to an agent one-on-one, you’ll be top of mind.

Educational Webinars for Prospective Clients

  1. The short sale process
  2. How to get financing
  3. Things to look for when buying a foreclosed home
  4. Anything else you can think of!

Online meetings can also be useful for long distance clients that are relocating to or from your area.

Business Meetings with Long Distance Clients

  1. Online listing presentations
  2. Share and explain documents and forms
  3. Weekly meetings to touch base with clients

But don’t get carried away with online meetings. Remember that face to face time is important for building relationships and reassuring your clients that you care about their real estate needs.

If you’re worried about the cost or hassle of implementing a webinar – don’t! Today’s software is easy to use and can be quite affordable. From what we’ve seen, dimdim.com is a great tool, and it’s free! You can create a webinar registration widget and put it on your website or blog for visitors to signup. For audio, you can choose to use a conference telephone number or your computer’s microphone. For more features, you can upgrade to the Pro version for $25 a month.

Try adding a webinar to your website and see what kind of results you get. Adding the dimdim registration widget to an ELITE Website is easy! Take a Free Test Drive of ELITE to see for yourself!
