The Social Media Breakfast-Dallas had it's monthly meeting last week. Hassan Bawab of Magic Logix provided the standing room only crowd and understanding of the the use of several of the social media tools that he uses in his award winning agency.
Dallas, TX- August 8, 2010- Magic Logix, a web based marketing Solutions Company, today announced that the company has been awarded the position of 194 on the 2010 Inc. 500 annual rankings. The top 500 recognized Magic Logix as one of the fastest-growing private companies in America. Magic Logix received the letter of from Inc. Editor, Jane Berentson.
What Hassan was able to show the group is how important your brand experssion is out in the social media world. How you can connect the disparate social media sites into one strong voice for your own brand should be part of your strategy from the beginning he explained. While tools are free it does take some work to coordinate all the sites. There should not be a crossover between business and personal. Facebook provides tools for privacy, but the best approach is to use a Fan Page for your business and a profile page for your personal.
Social Media Breakfast of Dallas is hitting it's stride now with the meetings. Each meeting is providing an expert who has a specific part of the social media puzzle figured out. They share their expertise freely and openly. This is the new order of business. Those who do not share, do not seem to understand this new social order. Agents and brokers who are still secretive are folks on their way out of the business, but this is just my opinion. What I have learned in my own career is that the more I share the more people share with me. It feels good on both sides and we both get to move forward in the ways we desire. How can that be bad.
