Homeowners Past Due or in Foreclosure - West Palm Beach, FL
One in seven homeowners is past due on their mortgage or in some process of foreclosure, according to the latest Mortgage Brokers Association report on home delinquencies.
The report shows that mortgage delinquencies rose during the 2nd quarter of 2010, and overall, 1 in 7 borrowers or in foreclosure. These figures are up from 1 in 8 delinquencies in 2009 and 1 in 11 back in 2008.
This data comes on the heels of a report issued last week by the State Foreclosure Prevention Working Group that shows 60% of seriously delinquent borrowers are not getting any assistance at all from their mortgage servicing company.
