Richie has done it again ...He makes so much sense that I think we all need to read this post. So, if you missed this treasure yeterday---here it is again!

Think about this for a while. This is rampant wherever you go. In college, people are there that do not want to be there. Some people cant stand their place of employment. Others watch children and put up with it. Some guy answers the phone in a department and hates it.....we see this happening all over the place.....

WHY DON'T YOU  STOP DOING SOMETHING IF YOUR HEART IS NOT IN IT......EVERYONE SUFFERS FOR IT...

But I need the money... I cant find anything else... The benefits are good... This is only temporary......

Okay, lets start with Real Estate agents who are not committed for the right reasons and lets just leave it at that. What are you doing in this business? We all see you and know you are not committed.

How about the teacher who is always wearing a frown, upset and yelling at the students. Grade level varies....perhaps this is not for you and we cannot pretend we do not see you because we do......

Family members, you go along with things and do and say things that are not real or sincere for whatever reason you choose. You keep the gossip and confusion going. You know it, we know it and what is the point? What do you get out of helping or visiting when you hate doing so.

The customer service person who every customer hates and you hate them right back. You cannot wait to say NO and you look for every opportunity not to help all the while saying how sorry you are and is there anything else I can help you with? Why don't you move on because what you are doing is sickening...

Employees.....if you do not support the place of your employment, if you have to be prodded and monitored to get done what anyone who like being there would do, would you please move-on. Oh, you need the job? Well act like you do instead of collecting money under false pretenses.

Employers....don't go anywhere. You too are guilty of putting stress and duress, your lack of leadership skills, direction, motivation, planning and lack of results and dumping them on all those around you. You have a scowl that can turn into a smile if forced and you have all the nice sounding words...but the music of the heart is missing....

Restaurant Servers...cant stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. When you don't like your job or what you are doing, it effects everyone and is totally unproductive. You suffer, the client suffers and the eatery...is at risk.

MY POINT: If you go somewhere, go there with all your heart. If your heart is missing, so are you.........

If you have something to say that you think is worthy and will make a difference, then speak with all your heart. Stop getting by. It is no good for you or the people around you. Do something about how you interact and perceive your environment and your surroundings will change. Sourpuss in....sourpuss out......Contribution and caring in....contribution and caring comes out.......You choose and whatever you choose...., bet the heart.....it's a sure win

Hi Paula,

Good post.

Right now real estate is hard, more work less money.

Not as much fun as it used to be.

BUT...

If your heart ain't in it, why are you doing it?

Thanks

Phil

I did miss it first time through and Richie is spot on, if you don't enjoy what you are doing, do something different. The market is what it is but too many use it for an excuse to be unhappy. Most of which were unhappy before the market turned but for different reasons. Maybe, just maybe the your market is bad because of your attitude. Like Richie mentioned we all know who you are and try and avoid dealings with you so you are hurting your own bottom line. Thanks for the reblog Paula.
