Use Your Windows To Set The Tone!

Buyers and sellers can have different ways of looking at windows. For the buyer, certain windows might be more desirable: double pane, thermal, low-e, and others are a lot more energy efficient than the older single pane variety. These energy efficient windows enhance a home's salability. However, windows do a lot more than reduce heating costs - Sellers can sell their windows in so many other ways!

1. Open curtains and blinds. Let in natural light and make your home feel bigger and brighter.


2. Decorate appropriately. Accenting your windows with neutral drapes, shades, and blinds can create an inviting atmosphere.


3. Put the view center stage. If you have a view, reposition furniture around this important feature. Your view is an asset, use it!

Before putting your home on the market, take a little time to consider how to maximize its full potential.
