20 Comments on The Rosenthal Malibu Winery is a True Estate in Malibu, CA.
Thanks for the suggestion, Endre. It sounds like a wonderful place to visit.
Bill if you like good wine you do not need to go to Napa or Sonoma. I have noticed that in some good restaurants they carry his wines.
200 acres in pristine Malibu. What a great place to visit!!
How could you go wrong here? Great weather in Malibu. Great locally made wine. And you might bump into Endre there too!
Carla- inside the Estate there are these private paved roads to get around and these wonderful grapes growing under maximum sunshine.
Craig, the view of the ocean, from the tasting room is fantastic too.
Endre - Who'd da thunk it. Malibu vineyards. I have never seen this thanks for sharing.
SUNSHINE!! We're hovering around 60 today, with chills, mild wind, and . . . scattered showers. It feels like FALL already. Yes, I would love to be in Malibu, with the sun, and a nice Chablis!!
Hi Endre ~ Now that's some sightseeing a lot of people could get behind. The Rosenthal Malibu Winery sounds like a great destination.
Liz
Ken- would you believe there are actually three other wineries in Malibu
Carla- so you like white burgundy another nice one crisp and fruity
Liz- I look for excuses to go:)
Endre -
Nice local color! And if it's red, white or pink it's even better. We;re headed that way in October and may just have to make a stop.
Endre, What a great place to stop into along the Pacific Coast Highway! Their wines sound wonderful. Wish we lived closer.
Hi Endre -- If I read this post and was nearby, I would find my way there. Hard not to with a post like this. What a huge treat.
Endre, thanks for sharing - just came back from sonoma - it's good to know good wine is close to home! just listed a spectacular ocean front property in Ventura. will email you when site is up.
Endre,
One of the things on my "bucket list" is to do a tour of California wineries.
Endre.. sounds like a nice place to visit... I am more of a red guy if I drink wine. One of my all time favorites is a bottle of Pouilly Fuisse... it's a White Burgundy wine... In any case, thanks for sharing,,
Michael--- wine is good to drink in October as well, bring a credit card and you will be fine:)
Elyse-- you sound like my other half, everytime she sees something in San Francisco..."...I wish we lived closer..." comes out.
Chris- if you go back often it is even easier to find:)
Angela- after you showing just drop in for a taste or two
Ty, you need lots of time then, Sonoma, Russian River, Napa, Carmel Valley, Malibu.....the list goes on and on. Besides time need lots of money to taste them all:)))
Jeff the Maritage is out of this world around $40- $70 a bottle a great red I could drink it every day:)))
I'm not much of a wine drinker but that wouldn't stop me from wanting to visit the winery. It would be very interesting to see.
