The members of GFWC Somo Sala Circle will be meet tomorrow at the women's clubhouse at Noon on September 1st, 2010. The gathering and social time will start at noon and the program will begin at 12:30.
The chosen charity of the month is CEASE and the Program will be "By-Stander Intervention: Initiation of the Green Dot Program" presented by Jackie Fleming, the Director of Cease.
Jackie Fleming will accept donated items for the shelter including canned goods, deodorant, feminine products, travel size toiletry items, and bath towels (especially needed). The Dollar Store and Big Lots are inexpensive outlets to find many of these items.
The Citizen Tribune will be there to photograph and promote the donation. If you have something to donate but cannot make it to the meeting you may drop off your donation at my work, Mountain Commerce Bank (across from Lowe's on Andrew Johnson Hwy. next to Aaron's Rent-a-Center). Stephanie Larkin will be there until 11:00 am tomorrow and then will head to the clubhouse.
