This will raise your BP! Dear Mr. Limbaugh,

I was speaking to an emergency room physician this morning. He told me that a woman in her 20's came to the ER with her 8 th pregnancy. She stated "my momma told me that I am the breadwinner for the family." He asked her to explain. She said that she can make babies and babies get money for the family. The scam goes like this: The grandma calls the Department of Child and Family Services and states that the unemployed daughter is not capable of caring for these children. DCFS agrees and states that the child or children will need to go to foster care. The grandma then volunteers to be the foster parent, and thus receives a check for $1500* per child per month in Illinois. Total yearly income: $144,000 tax-free, not to mention free healthcare (Medicaid) plus a monthly "Linx" card entitling her to free groceries, etc, and a voucher for 250 free cell phone minutes per month. This does not even include Wick and other welfare programs. Indeed, grandma was correct in that her fertile daughter is the "breadwinner" in the family.

I hope you share this story with your listeners so that they know how the ruling class spends our tax dollars.

Also, many thanks for the fine service you provide in educating people about the merits of conservative thinking.

Cheers,

Sebastian J.
* I checked on the veracity of this report via Google....the average pay out in IL is $14,855 per child per year - devided by 12 = $1,237.9166.

Liberals have made us a nation of dependents upon government handouts and programs!

Entitlement isn't necessary and is in fact, abused.  If this one is true, that gal should have worked for Enron ... before they went out of biz as well.

Melissa- while this is just an anecdotal story, I am sure that there are some instances of this abuse. We need to, as a country, encourage and reward behaviour that incents people to get off of the public teat, not to remain dependant.

I know they didn't invent entitlements, but is it possible that our current administration wants to get as many people dependent on the government as possible?  It could mean increasing votes for their side.

Thanks for all the comments folks.

I'm just tired of paying for everyones food & babies. IF YOU CAN'T FEED'EM DON'T BREED'EM....

I work my tail off every day just to provide for myself.  I have worked more than one job when times got rough.  Now I'm going to get to pay more for my own healthcare as well, 11% cost increase and a decrease in benefits due to the healthcare bill.

I believe if you need to pass a drug test to work at Wall-mart, then you should have to pass one to collect welfare.  I realize the post was not about welfare but that's just another entitlement that is abused as well.

When we lived in New Jersey they stopped a lot of the free give outs to people who were abusing the system by having one baby after another.  It caused quite an uproar but was upheld.  Yes you have a right to have children but we have a right not to support abuse of your right.
