"Beeing" Busy On A Wordless Wednesday

By

Recently we had bee hives placed on our land. I was really excited to do this because our veggie garden and flower gardens just haven't had the pollination we desired for a few years now.  These bees came from over a hundred miles away via a good beekeeper that we had referred to us. The bees have been gourging on the pollen in our moonflowers that bloom prolifically at night.  Each morning there are so many bees that it sounds like an airport with all the buzzing going on!  Can't wait for the honey!!

Wow! Most folks try to get rid of the bees and you have them brought to you! FUNNY! Enjoy the honey!

Trey:  Wow, sounds like a really great idea.  Question:  If you are allergic to bees... do you break out in "hives."  <ducking>

Funny, but with your wife having you around... I'd think she would have all the "honey" she could ever want or need.  Great picture.  <smile>

That's awesome! I don't live in an area where I could do something like this, but it sounds like a kick in the pants!

I've never seen a moonflower. Terrific close up on the bee pollinating!  Hope you don't get stung by all the bees!

I have not seen a moon flower before either, it is interesting what we see on AR..... Also, I have not seen a lot of bees pollinating at my house, maybe that was part of the problem with my flowers and vegetables this year.

Trey,

I haven't yet determined witch came first, the chicken or the egg! Now you've got me wondering about the bee or the plant!

It's a mesmerizing conundrum.

Hi Trey,

Boy, that really sounds neat. So do they (the bees) hang around forever now? Just curious and I have no idea.

Btw, great photos!
