16 Comments on The world is a very distracting place, so forgive me if I seem lost in thought.
Interesting. And I thought it was simply that my memory was getting worse.
Richard, it's important to be attentive! I'm sure your friends and your clients appreciate the fact that you pay attention to the details.
Good morning Richard,
Paying attention to details is a strong suit to posses. As Aaron said your friends and clients surely appreciate your attributes.
Lenn...
We, that could be it too! lol and Thanks.
Aaron...
I hope so. I just love to drink it all in! THX
Dorie...
Sometimes it is the little things that make the biggest difference. Thanks my friend.
Good morning Richard, I too suffer from ADD, halitosis and other maladies. But I just keep keeping on...
There is alot going on in that photo, it is almost as though there are several pics rolled into one
Life is in the details... or so I've heard :)
We have filled our lives with such meaningless drivel, it becomes almost impossible to really be present and enjoy all that IS.
My wife complains that I am always looking around, especially when I am driving. But there is so much to see in this world that looking ahead with blinders on you miss so much. I like being distracted, especially by Mother Nature!
Many of my friends are amazed when they ask where so and so is and I will give details like the house with the 2 horse stalls and the boxer pup.
I observe everything also, I just wonder how I actually drive from place to place without hitting the things right in front of me lol
Enjoy the day
Hi Richard, I am certainly in agreement with you on that one. I think those of us that spend a good bit of time behind a lens, realize that the world of details is so often overlooked as we discover when we capture the world around us. From homes to animals to plants. The abundance of the visuals is overwhelming when you really stop to take a look.
Richard, I don't know who said beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Who ever it was got that right. A jumble of abstract things can be just as cool as a mountain stream.
Taking the time to enjoy the view and smell the flowers...if that is a disease, may we all be so afflicted!
I am not psychologist but if you are taking in all the detail I don't think you are ADD. My niece is ADHD and she would never see the detail as she would already be someplace else! LOL Lucky for you that you see it.
Oh...I would not say it's AADD, more like an appreciation of the world around you! And also a touch of a good imagination!
Hello Richard, I've been reading a few of your blogs and I feel like you are writing just for me! This blog really spoke to me. I'm one of those people that gets distracted by shiny things. There's just so much to see and I'm afraid I might miss something! :-)
