Paloma Creek is a super neighborhood on Highway 380 in Denton County. It covers vast amounts of land along HWY 380 on both the North and South sides of the highway zoned for residential and commercial. Denton Independent School District (Denton ISD) is the school district for residents of this master-planned community.

Every Paloma Creek resident may use the amenity centers. Amenity centers may also be reserved by residents for parties to entertain family and friends.

These amenity centers have large kitchens, media rooms with surround sound and flat screen TVs, tall ceilings, fireplace sitting areas and all the bells and whistles that you would expect with a first class master-planned community. Guests of Paloma Creek residents often become home buyers in Paloma Creek.

Paloma Creek has multiple Junior-sized Olympic swimming pools, fitness facilities as well as a child playroom and restrooms.

Paloma Creek's nature preserve includes picturesque hike-and-bike trails winding all the way around the neighborhood. Surrounded by greenbelts, pocket parks and ball fields the trails give families the opportunity to bike, Rollerblade, walk, run or jog around the neighborhood with family and guests. New trails that will complete the route will be built in future phases of the development.

The location of Paloma Creek is about equal distance between Denton and McKinney on Highway 380. Currently, school aged children will attend Savannah Elementary (located inside of the Savannah Master-Planned Community) and Navajo Middle School that borders Paloma Creek North. The high school is Denton Ryan High School.

A bond was recently passed to build a new high school in the next few years that will be even closer to Paloma Creek than the Denton Ryan High School. The new high school of DISD will be located around Oak Point (near Cross Oak Ranch master-planned community). When this built, it will likely become the designated highschool for Paloma Creek residents.

Just a little background on this development, it all started back in 2001 with the land purchase. The trend of large master-planned communities along highway 380 started about the same time with the competing development of Providence. Paloma Creek had its first lifestyle community home owners in early 2003.

Today there are over a dozen master planned communities along highway 380 between Denton and McKinney. The Dallas Parkway will connect to Highway 380 later this year and there is another project to connect the Dallas Parkway to I-35 with a bridge across lake Lewisville!

The future of Paloma Creek looks bright with new highway infrastructure coming soon. There are plans to have about 5,500 total residents in Paloma. Large retail developments are starting to develop along the highway 380 corridor as demand increases.
