It is Labor Day weekend and this means that it may be your last chance to enjoy your community pools here in Katy.  Most community pools close after the Labor Day weekend while a few remain open through the month of September, so be sure to check out your homeowners association website for details before you head out.  Splash pads across the area remain open.

If you want to take some of the "labor" out of Labor Day, consider visiting one of these Katy area restaurants this weekend.  Maybe like many others you have a party of barbeque planned, if so consider some of these Labor Day grilling tips.
