DRIP, DRIP, DRIP!

Or even worse, the almost completely quiet sound a small leak in a toilet makes.

Teensy water leaks. Not a big deal?

That would be wrong on several fronts.

We're in the desert and water is NEVER something to waste.

Even a tiny leak can double, triple or worse, shoot up your monthly water use. Ka-Ching!

The City of Tucson water company will come out to your house and check out your house for potential water wasting scenarios. It's a free service. It's called the Tucson water Zanjero program. Here's a link to their site... http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/water/zanjero_program.htm

Again, we live in the beautiful Sonoran Desert.

If you see a leak of any sort in your neighbors yard, let them know. if it's a cranky neighbor send them an anonymous note.

Be smart about water. Be kind to the environment and your wallet.

Hi Jon, great advice about saving money and preventing problems with a water leak.  Another idea is to remember to check & make sure there are no leaks prior to leaving a home for vacation.  It would be bad to return home to a big unexpected water bill.  Shutting off the water for vacation is always another consideration.
