Look for rates to go up a little today with market reports that came out! Rates are still great!!!! People dont realize the average past history of rates are about 6.5% and we are way below that average!! Hope this cold spell and windy weather dont scare those home buyers out there. They better move now before it gets worst. Everyone make it a great day out there.

Rates go up and rates go down. They are artificially low right now. In 1966 my father built his house when he finished his rate was 6.25%. When we bought out house in 1985 the rate was 13%. I know someone that had a rate of 21% [they lived in San Deigo]. We have cheap money now, yet according to national stats sales are in a steep decline. Maybe a rising rate would get some fence sitters to jump
