The Annual Caldwell New Jersey Street Fair which is held on the first Sunday of October every year, this year falls on Sunday, October 3rd for 2010 from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Annual Caldwell New Jersey Street Fair spread out on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell New Jersey offers free admission, a variety craft and merchandise vendors, a wide array of food and drinks, rides for the children and a Beer Garden with live entertainment.
Started by the Rotary Club of Caldwells and the Kiwanis Club of Caldwell-West Essex , the first Caldwell New Jersey Street Fair was held in October 1992 and has been held every year since on the first Sunday of October. It was their way of bringing together the community and families by having an old fashioned street fair. You Know What??? IT WORKED!! The Caldwell New Jersey Street Fair attracts crowds of over 30,000 people!
Eighteen years later residents of the Caldwell and neighboring Communities of West Essex look forward to the Caldwell Street Fair. Some local businesses are sponsors and banners are hung throughout the Caldwell section of Bloomfield Avenue.
If you're not doing anything on October 3rd between 12-5, stop by the Caldwell Street Fair for a bite to eat, a cold drink and let the kiddies have fun on the rides!!
