Hey all you Miamians! Show proof of your Miami residency and get reduced entry to Jungle Island this holiday weekend.

The regular entry fee is $27.95 for adults. This Saturday, Sunday and Monday all Miami residents can get in for only $10 each. Cool Deal!

In addition to their regular attractions (and there's nothing ordinary about them!) they're having a Labor Day Weekend Brunch each of the three days as well. Can you say sweet? (and yummy!)

Jungle Island is the new name for what we knew as Parrot Jungle. Have you visited them at their new home yet? Isn't it time you did? This is a great opportunity! I may just run into you there.

About the picture - Ines took it of Nick M. and I at our first meeting. I need to pay her royalties! I have an appointment at the board for a real business portrait next month. It's about time.

Teri - I'm working most of the weekend, but I've decided Monday I will take advantage of our lovely Miami weather and Jungle Island. =)

Neal - did you chaperone? I try to go on as many trips with the kiddies as possible.

Bob - was it the title that made you think that? =) Let's go get Chris and eat and shop for shoes.

Suzanne - I can afford it now, even times 3. LOL Thanks.

David - I really am shooting for Monday. If you find yourself and the family with a few extra hours come on down!

Katerina - the birds are definitely a highlight of the trip. I have 2 parrots myself and the bigger one made so much noise yesterday as I worked from home that I had to apologize to the agent on the phone as I took the call outside. They're very loud little critters.

Mana - I can't spring for airfare but we could probably fix you up a place to stay! Miami's beautiful. =)

Maggie- We used to have a white cockatoo, he was so loud but he was potty trained. One of my buyers gave him to me and the kids. He was so much fun but he chewed up our door jams! We lost him because he got out one day and flew away and I think someone stole him because he always came back home. Katerina

awwww Katerina, that's sad. These birds live really long lives (30 years or so?) so it's quite possible for them to be with us for many, many years. I'm so sorry about yours.
